White Tailed Deer

Our pursuit of legendary mature Whitetails in Kansas stands as a pinnacle among our sought-after hunting experiences. We offer three distinct annual hunts: Early Muzzleloader, Archery During the Rut, and Rifle. The timeline: Early Muzzleloader in September, Archery Hunts from late October to early November, and Rifle in late November to early December.

Each hunt spans five days with a six-night lodge stay. Extending your stay is possible based on availability. We have various blinds including double-man box blinds, ladder stands, and ground blinds across 50+ locations. Adapting to nature’s whims, we mitigate pressure on our mature deer and create opportunity.

Integral to the character of Double Nickel is our unwavering commitment to land management and an integrated approach. We meticulously scout, assess herd dynamics, foster growth, and make substantial investments in the development and stewardship of mature whitetail habitat. This dedication lays the foundation for the extraordinary hunting encounters we offer.

Waterfowl

Controlled Upland Shooting

If you’re into Wing Shooting and action-packed experiences, we’ve got something special for you. You can choose between a traditional field hunt guided by our pros and dogs, or go for a European tower shoot. We often combine both for an all-around adventure.

Here’s how it works: Start your day with a morning hunt alongside our dogs, take a break for lunch, and finish strong with a tower shoot on the home property. Our packages begin with a minimum of two nights and one day of hunting. We release ten birds per hunter and include two rounds of trap shooting. If you want more, you can add extra nights, more birds, and we also offer ammunition.

Keep in mind, we require at least 5 people and can accommodate up to 12 for this kind of hunt. Get ready for Wing Shooting excitement with our tailored packages.

Guns and Games Outing

Venture into an outdoor and camaraderie escapade via a Guns and Games Outing. Whether you’re drawn to a preferred sporting event or seeking a break with friends or clients, this experience offers both. Engage in immersive education about handguns, high-powered rifles, shotguns, and AR’s.

Immerse yourself in the experience as you learn, shoot, and engage with various firearms on our ranges. Safety and training are paramount, and we supply the necessary guns, ammunition, and a controlled shooting environment.

This package spans two nights and two days. It can also be seamlessly added to our White-Tailed Deer Hunt or Controlled Upland Shoot experiences. Embrace the outdoors, expand your knowledge, and enjoy the thrill of shooting in a secure setting.
